How does it work?
All you need to do is setup your call forwarding preferences to direct your missed calls to the number assigned to your account (it’s done super easily in 30 seconds). When you miss a call it is now directed to the OnSilent software for it to take messages and handles the transcriptions etc.
Does it work with all providers?
OnSilent works with all mobile carriers as long as your provider allows you to redirect your missed calls to another number. In most cases, this is easily done with Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone. Check this page for a detailed guide to setting up OnSilent on your phone.
Can I turn it off?
Just as easily as it is setup you can reverse things and go back to your normal voicemail setup at any moment. We also provide detailed instructions on how to do that.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes, we have a plan for teams that comes with 3 licences. Extra licences can be purchased at $49 / licence / month.
We also have an enterprise plan for bigger teams that starts at 50 licences.
Any software integrations?
It works without issues with other softwares but there isn’t any specific integration yet. One way to look at it is that it gives a massive upgrade to your voicemail so it won’t change the way you schedule jobs or take payments and certainly won’t brake anything. An actual integration (with Servicem8 for example) definitely is on the roadmap though!
Can I still answer my phone?
Absolutely! Nothing changes, one way to look at it is that your voicemail has now been massively upgraded. You can still answer your phone anytime, but when you don’t OnSilent has got you covered and does the work for you so that you can get in your zone and ignore your phone. Just put it on silent (see what we’ve done here)!
How else can I use it?
Upon signing up you are assigned a regular phone number linked to the OnSilent voicemail service. You can choose to share this number with anyone you feel like. Some of our users only give out their OnSilent number to clients. That way all their inbound calls are alway filtered etc for them while they can concentrate on doing their work.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! Our Lite and Pro plan both offer a 7-Day free trial.
Can it handle concurrent calls?
Yes, the system can handle a large volume of simultaneous calls and works 24/7/365.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Currently the software works entirely app-free. We are planning to introduce an app late 2024 but it will be optional and the core functionalities of the OnSilent Call Management Software will keep working without it.
